O Divine Physician, You heal the ills of so many.
Please help all Your Doctors who serve You in the care of their patients.
Inspire them to know the needs of each person they serve.
Help them determine the right course of action to bring about the healing they seek,
May that be medicine, emotional strength, support in dealing with sickness, whatever else is necessary.
Guide their minds and hearts in helping others, and protect their own well-being.
May Your Healing Hands be their Healing Hands.
May Your encouragement be their encouragement,
May Your healing touch be their healing touch.
O Divine Physician, thank You for the Doctors You bring into our lives.
How fortunate and blessed that You give us the Doctors we need most at the specific times in our life.
I praise You O Divine Physician. How You love us and our Doctors.

Father Joe,
Thank you. I originally wrote the prayer for my wonderful Doctor. I am happy you are sending it to your Doctors. I thank God for His gift in writing. A title comes and I start typing. Often it is inspired by daily Scripture Readings. My prayers are with you.

Dear Sr. La Donna,
A friend of mine, Mary Frances Keisling, is in the hospital, having undergone surgery to remove cancer in her ovaries. Mary will probably meet the criteria for the clinical trial but will not know for certain until next week when the pathology results are finally in.Then 18 weeks of treatment follow once the trial starts.
I have sent her your poem as an encouragement and prayer. I’m sure it will strengthen her and her family as they depend on the Lord and his servant physicians.

Joanne, I’ve had you on my mind for sometime. How is Mary doing? Prayer is a powerful tool as you well know. I haven’t been writing for awhile. I Fractured my right thomb. It is difficult not to use it or to write, eat, etc. I take the cast off–one you can slip on and off. When I use it, it starts hurting. Please pray that it heals quickly. I need some special prayers for awhile. I’ll fill you in at another time. O’K. Sr. La Donna
