Keep your heart open, your eyes focused, your ears attuned. What wonders are springing up all around—the birds singing and forming their nests, preparing for the new life they will produce; the flowering trees, soon to open and spread their perfume beauty; the barren trees budding, soon to leaf out their beautiful foliage; warmer weather lifting our spirits.
More important than anything, is the PASCHAL MYSTERY of Our Lord Jesus Christ. The center of all our reflections is encompassed around the suffering, death, and resurrection of our REDEEMER. What great LOVE He showed to and for us. It helps us pause and think of how best we can unite our own paschal mystery with Him. ARE WE WILLING to open up and invite Christ to walk with us in our paschal mysteries??? He desires to be with us and to trust His ENDURING LOVE for us. CHRIST IS THE GREAT SPRING OF OUR HEARTS!

Joanna, I didn’t realize your name was Joanna. I thought it was just Joann. Thanks so much for replying to my newest Post–Spring Is Here. Yes, this season is special to me in so many ways. The Paschal Mystery of Christ is uppermost in my mind as I reflect daily. God love you and Jim.

FYI: birth certificate says “Joan Constance,” I am called “Joanie” by my family. Baptismal certificate says “Joann.”
My dad called me “Joanna”, mother called me “Jo”. In her bible, I’m listed as Joann Concepta. I answer to them all.
Then there is Theresa=confirmation name, throw in there my maiden name. More than you wanted to know?
