Father, My Father

Where would we be without You?
You are our life-breath.
You walk hand-in-hand with willing souls.
You encircle our every effort.
You reach out to our wounded heart.
You find joy in reaching out to drooping spirits.
You send special persons to cheer us.
Your all-embracing love flowers beauty and new life.
When our hope dwindles or life throws a curve,
You bring light to spark new flames in our heart.
What great happiness this brings to humble hearts.
Father, my Father, Your faithfulness delights us.
